Got our great outdoor kitchen from Alfresco Kitchens - planned and fitted by the team to suit the patio and space in NW London. Such a big difference to the free standing trolley BBQ we had prior (which wasn't a bad BBQ) - the space to store stuff close to hand, plenty of bench space, beer fridge , electrical sockets, running water & sink all close to hand make BBQ life so much easier. I'm outside BBQing 3-4 days a week all through winter, so looking forward to summer! Also got a Kamado Joe from the team which we're all loving and using way more than I thought we would as the setup makes it too easy to get things smoking!

Do outdoor kitchens need to be covered?

No, our outdoor kitchens don’t need to be covered. They’re engineered to be 100% weatherproof – designed to withstand rain, sun, frost, and everything the British weather can throw at them.

The quality materials and precision construction mean you can safely store your tableware, linens, and kitchen essentials in your outdoor kitchen year-round without worry.

That said, many of our clients choose to add a pergola or covered structure – not to protect the kitchen, but for their own comfort. There’s nothing quite like cooking and entertaining outdoors while sheltered from intense sun or summer showers. If you’re interested in creating a covered outdoor entertaining space, we have excellent solutions for that too.

What are the lead times for outdoor kitchens?

Every outdoor kitchen we create is custom-made to order – designed specifically for your space, your style, and your requirements. Because each kitchen is unique and built to such exacting standards, we recommend planning ahead.

Typical lead times are 10-12 weeks from order confirmation to delivery, though this can vary depending on the complexity of your design and the time of year.

We know it requires patience, but our clients consistently tell us it’s absolutely worth the wait. You’re not getting an off-the-shelf product – you’re getting a precision-engineered outdoor kitchen built to last for decades.
